Ranbir Kapoor is basking in the success of his latest film Sanju that has been recorded as the highest opener at the box office in 2018. He has won accolades for his performance both from his tinsel town colleagues and the audience.

He was recently seen at Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta’s pre-engagement party, where he came along with best friend and film director Ayan Mukherji. Karan Johar shared the picture of the two on his social media handles.

Whether the actor actually made fun of the two friends, who are seen together so often, saying they should now get married to each other, or simply meant that it was “high time” the two thought about marriage (to different persons) is anybody’s guess. The Twitterati, nevertheless, had a good time having fun at the expense of Ranbir Kapoor getting trolled by his father.

Ranbir and Ayan have been friends for a long time now, and Wake Up Sid was their first film together. They are now working on Brahmastra in which Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy are playing lead roles.
