Last night at Star Screen Awards 2018, the newlywed couple made a dynamic entry in their coordinated attires. But one thing that stole the limelight was Ranveer’s heartfelt speech after he won an award, which left wifey Deepika teary-eyed.

Actor Ranveer Singh won the Best Actor award for his role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat. Ranveer in his speech thanked his wife for the support.

He said, “Film main mujhe Rani nahi mili, but in real life, I have got my Queen,” and he said pointing towards Deepika.

Further adding, Ranveer said, “Baby, I love you, pichhle 6 saal main maine kuch bhi achieve kiya hai, kyunki aap ne mujhe grounded rakha, centered rakha, thank you for everything and I love you.”
Not only Deepika but Ranveer also thanked his grandmother who passed away this year and dedicated the award to her showing his gratitude towards her love and care. He also thanked director Sanjay Leela Bhansali for trusting him with such an opulent role.

Ranveer shared his happiness on his Instagram by posting a picture with his Best Actor award and did the hook step of song Khailbali from Padmaavat. Also, he shared a screenshot in which Deepika is in tears during the speech of Ranveer.
For Padmvaat role, Ranveer Singh has garnered immense appreciation for his performance.
