Nargis Fakhri reveals how ‘Rockstar’ was a turning point in her life
On the 13th anniversary of her debut film “Rockstar”, Nargis Fakhri reflected on how the Ranbir Kapoor-starrer became a turning point in her career.
One of the best on-screen pairs Bollywood has seen is that of Munna Bhai and Circuit, played by Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi in the Munna Bhai series. Director Rajkumar Hirani has confirmed earlier that the third part of the hit franchise would roll out soon.
Even though Arshad Warsi was hugely popular as Circuit, speculations are doing the rounds now that Sanju actor Ranbir Kapoor might be roped in to play Circuit in the upcoming Munna Bhai flick.

“Seeing Ranbir’s performance in Sanju everyone is impressed. The makers believe Ranbir and Sanjay will share great on-screen chemistry considering their rapport with each other,” says a report in Filmfare. There is, however, no confirmation on this so far from the makers of the film.
In a behind-the-scenes video released earlier this month, which showed the team of Sanju working meticulously to transform Ranbir Kapoor into Munna Bhai for a scene, Sanjay Dutt can be seen surprised to see the final look. “I hope I’m doing Munna Bhai 3,” he asks Hirani in the video after looking at Ranbir.

However, social media is not very happy with the speculations. A Twitter user commented “Boring….we can’t see Ranbir as circuit…… circuit is only meant for Arshad Warsi…..he will bring life to circuit’s character.”

The role of Circuit was played by Arshad Warsi in the first two instalments of the series. And both the films were immensely successful at the box office.
