Ever since the announcement of Brahmastra, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, the film has been making headlines. As the excitement is increasing around the film, the new buzz is related to the release date of the film.
The film was scheduled to release on August 15, 2019, but has been pushed ahead. On Tuesday, the makers of the film announced that the film would hit theatres on Christmas 2019.

The Independence Day weekend has already been taken over by actor Akshay Kumar for his next film Mission Mangal. Akshay announced the release date on his social media and wrote, “A powerful true story of ordinary people with extraordinary dreams, on an unheard of mission to achieve the impossible. #MissionMangal will come alive on 15th August 2019. See you at the theaters. @foxstarhindi.”

Brahmastra is a fantasy-adventure trilogy directed by Ayan Mukerji and stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, and Nagarjuna apart from Ranbir and Alia. Two schedules of the film have already been wrapped up.
On the other hand, Mission Mangal is a collaboration with director R Balki and will be directed by Jagan Shakti. Apart from Akshay, the film will cast Sonakshi Sinha, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Sharman Joshi, and Kirti Kulhari.
