The impressive trailer featuring Rajkummar Rao as Omar Saeed supposedly hasn’t made much of an impact on the audience.
Film critic and Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and disclosed the collections as he wrote, “#Omertà witnesses growth on Sat… While the growth is substantial, the overall total remains on the lower side… Sun biz holds the key… Fri 54 lakhs, Sat 1.09 cr. Total: ₹ 1.64 cr. India biz.”

Rajkummar Rao is essaying the character of British-born Pakistani terrorist Omar Saeed Sheikh.
The Hansal Mehta-directed Omertà is Rajkummar’s first anti-hero film. Talking about his role Rajkummar Rao said, “My first as an anti-hero and exhausting as an actor. To feel the hate towards another human-being without any remorse can take quite a toll. It took me a while to shed this character.”
