Bollywood actor Priyanka Chopra and American singer Nick Jonas tied the knot on Sunday (December 2) as per Hindu rituals at Umaid Bhawan in Jodhpur.

According to reports, the Quantico actress became emotional during her jaimala ceremony.

“One of the guests at the wedding cheered the bride and groom as they came face-to-face at the mandap. Priyanka teared up during the jaimala session,” said a PinkVilla report.

It all began as a fierce song & dance competition between the families but ended, as always, as a huge celebration of love.  Nick and I were looking forward to the Sangeet (musical evening), another pre wedding ritual.. and to see what each side had put together. Amul, which always comes up with an innovative ideas in its ads, congratulated the newlyweds in its own style. The dairy brand posted “Joinus for the shaadi”, and commented: “Umaid for each other”.


The couple will soon fly down to Mumbai for their reception which will take place at The Grand Hyatt.
