Preity Zinta on 20 years of ‘Veer Zaara’: “This film taught me selfless love”
'Veer Zaara' tells the story of an Indian Air Force pilot and a Pakistani woman whose love defies borders and prejudice.
Actor Preity Zinta, who also co-owns Kings XI Punjab, happened to come across the daughter of her frenemy (on field) on January 27 at IPL’s 2018 auction ceremony.
Zinta came across actor Juhi Chawla’s daughter, Janvi Mehta, who was also present at the auction. To those of you who doesn’t know what the young girl was doing there, well Janvi’s mother Juhi is the co-owner of Shah Rukh Khan’s Kolkata Knight Riders and she made sure that she is in full support with her mother during the auction ceremony.

Juhi and her husband are among those Bollywood celebs who choose to keep their children away from the spotlight of the tinsel town. But it seems like Zinta was very keen to introduce the 17-year-old to the entire world.

The actor shared an imaged with Janvi on her Instagram account. And while the selfie has been loved by all, it is Janvi’s smartness that impressed Zinta.
As per the actor’s post, it seems like the young star kid gave a tough competition to the team owner of Punjab by using her street smart methods to bid for the most valuable players.
Unlike most of the star kids, who keen on to explore their career as actors or filmmakers, Janvi’s passion is yet to be known and the young girl is presently studying in London.
