When Jaya Bachchan felt neglected by Nehru government
Veteran actress Jaya Bachchan once spoke about how she felt neglected during her younger years, not by her family or elders, but by the government.
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan and his family members began their Holi celebrations in a traditional way with the symbolic burning of Holika.
As per Hindu traditions, Holika Dahan is held the night before the festival of colours to mark the victory of good over evil.
Big B along with Jaya Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Shweta Nanda and Aaradhya Bachchan were seen participating in the rituals associated with the festival.

However, Abhishek Bachchan couldn’t become the part of the celebration as he is occupied with his upcoming film ‘Manmarziyan’, which also stars Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal.
Amitabh Bachchan took to Twitter to share the moment with his fans.
“T 2730 – the Holika has been burnt and the prayers done .. the ‘tilak’ colours put .. and the special sweetmeat for the occasion ‘gujiya’ consumed .,” he wrote.

Bollywood celebs will not be celebrating Holi with much enthusiasm this time due to the demise of actress Sridevi.
Shabana Azmi has canceled a scheduled Holi party. Amitabh, Jaya, and Aishwarya were seen at the condolence meet of the legendary actress who was honoured with the Padma Shri, India’s fourth highest civilian honour, in 2013.
