No benefit shows: Revanth to Tollywood
Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy stuck to his guns and said benefit shows will not be permitted during a meeting with the bigwigs of the Telugu film industry held today.
Pawan Kalyan’s 25th film Agnyaathavaasi which released on January 12, received mixed responses from audiences. The makers of Agnyaathavaasi have now announced that a special cameo will be done by Tollywood actor Venkatesh who has done hit films like Prema, Brahma Putrudu and Bobbili Raja.
They will also be cutting many unnecessary shots in the film and will be releasing the renewed version in theatres from Sankranthi, said media reports.

Angyaathavaasi was one of the most awaited films in the Telugu cinema and took the box office by storm on its opening day. According to a Forbes report, the film gained over a record breaking $1.52 Million in its US Box Office but sank by a decline of 97% in just two days of its release, making just $44,600 on Thursday. According to reports, the film earned a total of Rs 60.5 Crore worldwide on its first day.

The film directed by Trivikram Srinivas is his third collaboration with Pawan Kalyan. Previously this actor-director duo was seen doing two other blockbuster films like Jalsa and Attarintiki Daredi.
Apart from starring Pawan Kalyan, the film also stars Aadhi, Keerthy Suresh and Anu Emmanuel. Angyaathavaasi also marks the Telugu debut for music director Anirudh Ravichander.
