Storied atelier Zoya from the House of Tata announced its entry into eastern India on Wednesday, opening its first store in Kolkata, in a heritage bungalow on Shakespeare Sarani.
Akshay is a talented and high-powered actor who often goes for films inspired by real-life events. On 26 January, his next film ‘PadMan’ based on menstrual hygiene will be released and people cannot stop talking about it. PadMan, starring Akshay Kumar, has achieved another milestone in the Indian Cinema.
The film is produced by Twinkle Khanna and she has been invited to showcase and discuss her film at the Oxford Union- a reputed debating society in the world. The film will be showcased there on 18 January.

The story is adapted from Twinkle Khanna’s book The Legend of Lakshmi Prasad which she wrote on Arunachalam Muruganantham’s real-life story. Arunachalam was a resident of Coimbatore, an illiterate man who proved to be a real-life superhero and invented the machine to produce sanitary pads at a low cost.

This society was found in 1823 and since then many famous speakers and leaders have been part of it. The list includes the Dalai Lama, Shashi Tharoor, Michael Jackson, Salman Rushdie, Malala Yousafzai and Morgan Freeman.
Twinkle Khanna will be talking about the tabooed topic, menstruation and the problems faced regarding it globally. PadMan will be the first Indian Film to be presented in the Oxford Union.
