Karan Johar marks 20 Years of ‘Koffee With Karan’ with memorable moments
Karan Johar's popular chat show "Koffee With Karan" has completed its 20 years, and the filmmaker celebrated the milestone with a special video.
During the trailer launch of ‘Do Patti’ Kajol slammed a question asking her to share an anecdote about facing betrayal.
Kajol is known for sharing her thoughts without mincing her words. During the trailer launch of her highly-awaited Netflix film, ‘Do Patti’ slammed a question asking her to reveal the details of betrayal she has faced in her personal life. The film will show Kajol donning the cop’s uniform for the first time as she strives to solve Kriti Sanon’s twin chaos. ‘Do Patti’ also stars Shaheer Sheikh and the trailer released today in a studded event.
The upcoming chase thriller follows a web of betrayal and lies. Reportedly, during the trailer launch, Kajol was asked to share an anecdote about feeling betrayed. In response, the ‘Dilwale’ star snapped saying, “Don’t be daft. I am not going to share an anecdote. It is too personal. If it is a betrayal, it is too personal. Obviously, I will not.” She then asked if her co-stars wanted to share an anecdote and they too refused.

Talking about betrayal, Kajol noted, “We cannot share anecdotes on this topic. But we can tell you that betrayal is something that everyone experiences. If we’ve grown up as an adult, you feel it as a child sometimes, you feel it as a teenager, you will feel it as an adult and at some point in your life for sure. Otherwise, you haven’t lived life at all or you’ve been under a tree somewhere. Yes, we’ve all felt betrayal and I think we’ve portrayed it nicely also in the film.”
As the conversation progressed, Kajol also reflected on playing the cop for the first time on screen. When probed if she felt nervous, Kajol replied, “When you actually wear a uniform, there is a sense of respect that comes in. I am never nervous for any of my films that released. I give all my heart to my job, and when I do that, I have 100 per cent faith in myself. Everyone has a different perspective. Some will like it, and some won’t, but that’s a different situation. We work for audiences to love us. I appreciate that love.”
