NTR Jr, the popular actor from the movie ‘RRR’, along with his family, exercised their democratic right by casting their votes in Hyderabad during the ongoing fourth phase of Lok Sabha elections.

Encouraging citizens to actively participate in the electoral process, NTR Jr in Hyderabad emphasized the importance of voting, stating, “Everybody has to use the right of their vote. I think it is a good message which we need to pass on to the coming generations.”

The fourth phase of polling commenced at 7 am and will continue until 6 pm across all Lok Sabha constituencies, including assembly seats. This phase encompasses 96 Parliamentary Constituencies nationwide. Simultaneously, polling for all 175 seats of the Andhra Pradesh State Legislative Assembly and 28 seats of the Odisha State Legislative Assembly has also begun.

A total of 4,264 nominations were filed for the 96 parliamentary constituencies. Among these, 25 are from Andhra Pradesh, 17 from Telangana, 13 from Uttar Pradesh, 11 from Maharashtra, eight each from Madhya Pradesh and West Bengal, five from Bihar, four each from Jharkhand and Odisha, and one from Jammu and Kashmir.

The fourth phase features significant contests in various constituencies, drawing attention to prominent leaders such as AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, West Bengal Congress chief Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, TMC leader Mahua Moitra, BJP leader Giriraj Singh, JDU’s Rajiv Ranjan Singh (Lalan Singh), and TMC leaders Shatrughan Sinha and Yusuf Pathan.

As the electoral process unfolds, citizens across the nation are actively participating in shaping the future of governance. With each vote cast, individuals contribute to the collective voice of democracy, reaffirming the fundamental principles of representation and civic engagement.
