2018’s first quarter has not been kind to comedian Kapil Sharma as he is already surrounded by a number of controversies that might spoil his popularity graph further.
From abusing and accusing a journalist of destroying his life to cancelling shoots with celebrities to ultimately the suspension of his latest show — Family Time with Kapil Sharma, the comedian has indeed become one of the most controversial stars in a short span of time.
However, the comedian has finally broken his silence over the controversies surrounding him, saying that he is not new to people ‘piggybacking’ his success.

In an interview to a leading daily, Kapil said, “The people who want my career destroyed can spread whatever lies they want. I am okay with it. I am not new to people piggy riding my success. Let them, as long as it gives them the satisfaction they want. I know what I am doing.”
Kapil also shared the details of his show and was very vocal about the suspension of his show, saying the “channel has full faith in him”.
“My channel Sony Entertainment is completely behind me. Sony’s helmers Mr N P Singh and Mr Danish Aslam are the most supportive people I’ve worked with. They believe in me,” he said in the interview.
According to reports, the show has been suspended only for the month of April and its final fate is not decided yet as Kapil has decided to revamp the show.
