Television actress Hina Khan may have started the trend of getting dolls made on TV actors, but now the rest of the TV industry is also catching up.
Popular TV show Naagin 3‘s star cast Pearl V Puri who plays Maahir and Surbhi Jyoti who plays Bela in the show now have dolls made after them.

Personalised dolls of popular television characters have became a trend after Erica Fernandes as Prerna and Hina Khan as Komolika from Kasauti Zindagi Kay had dolls modelled on their characters.

Both Pearl and Surbhi are one of the television industry’s most favourite jodi( pair), so much so, that after Pearl signed another show titled Bepanah Pyaar, fans went on to circulate trends and petitions about not having the actor-singer pair with any other female actor but Surbhi.
The petitions did not change anything and the actor went on to work with Ishita Dutta and Aparna Dixit in the show that aired on 3 June 2019 on Colors TV.
Other television actors who have personalised dolls made after them or the popular characters they portray include Dipika Kakar, Shivangi Joshi, Pooja Banerjee, Priyank Sharma and Mohsin Khan among others.
