Quashing the rumours, Lata Mangeshkar gave a quick update on Twitter about her health. Her post reads, “Namaskar. Meri sehat ke baare mein kuchafwaahein uth rahi hain Lekin aap in par vishwas na karein. Main bilkul swasth hun aur apneghar mein hun….”

Lata Mangeshkar, born on 28 September 1929, has sung in over one thousand films. He name was listed in The Guinness Book of Records as the most recorded artiste in the history in 1974. In 2001, Lata Mangeshkar was honoured with the Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian honour.
