For Sheeran, the issue is simple: his children didn’t ask for fame. "People say, ‘Well, that’s the trade-off,’ but my kids never signed up for that," he emphasized.
The 2018 Billboard Music Awards was a star-studded affair and saw some of the most surprising wins of the night at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas on May 20.
A number of artistes, including the likes of Ariana Grande, Dua Lipa, John Legend and Ed Sheeran, performed on stage, making the night even more memorable.

However, multiple nominations (15 to be exact) of Kendrick Lamar, Bruno Mars and Ed Sheeran in various categories was the biggest takeaway from the star-studded event.
