India’s longest running adventurous reality show, Roadies, is back on MTV — with a new theme and gang leader much like all the other seasons. Roadies have connected with the youth for the last 15 years due to its unique formats and fascinating tasks every season. And Roadies 16 had legendary sportsman Sandeep Singh joining the league as gang leader for the first time.

Singh will be locking horns with favourite small screen star Prince Narula who is determined to win. Raaftar whose music echoes among the youth is also prepped up for his second stint along with seasoned expert Nikhil Chinappa.

Speaking about his first collaboration with the show, Singh said, “This is my first association with the show and the concept of finding real-life heroes propelled me. All of us have the potential to rise beyond the ordinary and make a difference and that’s what I believe. It’s going to be a new experience and I am eager to explore something I haven’t done before.”

Bollywood actress and two times winner Neha Dhupia, said, “It’s already the fourth year as a gang leader and my excitement only increases with every season! So much has changed for the better in these years, both personally and professionally for me. Roadies Real Heroes is an adventurous getaway for me every year where I meet new people, go through a journey of courage and strength with them and end up making friends too. This season is much bigger, better and I can’t wait for the auditions to begin!”

And to top it all is Ringmaster Rannvijay Singh who promises to stir up the game like never before. In the recently held Delhi auditions, the mentors turned heads as they grilled contestants to become a part of the most remarkable ride ever.

The leader who has been associated with the show for the longest time hopes to meet find some “dynamic contestants” this season. “From being a contestant and winner to a host to a winning gang leader and a host again, Roadies has come a full circle for me. Yet every season throws up a new challenge and intrigues me more. This time, I am hoping to meet some dynamic contestants who have the ability to tackle what comes their way and surge ahead,” he said.

The auditions for the show have started in Delhi. Chilling winters notwithstanding, adventure junkies poured in large numbers to be a part of Roadies Real Heroes. The auditions are further slated to happen next in Chandigarh, Indore, and Pune.
