The #MeToo movement is gaining momentum, and support, with every passing day, and the credit well might be given to Bollywood actress Tanushree Dutta who spoke about how veteran actor Nana Patekar sexually harassed her on the sets of Horn Ok Pleassss.
This move of hers led the way for other victims of sexual harassment to come forward and name and shame their culprits.

Tanushree has filed a complaint against Nana and the investigations are still on. Several Bollywood celebrities came out in support of Tanushree. However, Rakhi Sawant called a press conference where she called Tanushree a liar. She even commented on the image of the actress and alleged that she is cooking up stories. Incidentally, Rakhi had replaced Dutta in the song of the film Horn Ok Pleasss.
Following Rakhi’s allegations, Tanushree Dutta, on Monday, has proceeded to file a defamation suit of Rs 10 Crore against Rakhi Sawant. Tanushree’s lawyer Nitin Satpute spoke to Republic TV and said, “We have filed a criminal and civil defamation case against Rakhi Sawant for maligning my client’s character and image. If she fails to revert, she will be punished for two years or fined or both.”

After the allegations, Nana Patekar has dropped out of the film Housefull 4, and even Akshay Kumar also decided to leave the film because of the allegations made against actor Nana Patekar and director Sajid Khan.
Nana was also questioned at CINTAA to which he replied that Tanushree’s claims were ‘motivated’ and ‘malicious.’
