In the wake of #MeToo campaign, 11 Indian women filmmakers have joined hands pledging not to work with proven offenders. The list includes directors Alankrita Shrivastava, Gauri Shinde, Kiran Rao, Meghna Gulzar, Konkona Sen Sharma, Nandita Das, Nitya Mehra, Reema Kagti, Ruchi Narain, Shonali Bose, and Zoya Akhtar.
After Bollywood actress Konkona Sharma shared the post on her Twitter handle, a user replied to the post questioning Reema Kagti’s conduct, accusing her of sexually harassing TV actor Mouni Roy during the shooting of Gold.

A few days ago, Mouni Roy supported the #MeToo movement and said, “I think they should take their matter to court but it will only happen when you will talk about the present situation because there are some cases which has happened so many years ago that there is no proof or evidence left to get due justice.”
Several big names from the industry, including Sajid Khan, Nana Patekar, Alok Nath, Subhash Ghai, and Vikas Bahl among others, have been accused of sexual harassment.
