Actor Mahima Chowdhury is set to insugurate a dedicated cancer care unit of a private hospital in Durgapur on Republic Day. Sri Ramkrishra Institute of Medical Science runs a 300 bedded hospital and a medical college with 200 student intake capacity here at Molandighi since 2015.
Partha Pobo, Managing Director of the education trust said: “Our cancer care unit will extend cancer care facilities to the downtrodden segment.” Mahima Chowdhury herself is a cancer survivor.
