The makers of the film also revealed that the trailer will be released on 21 February. Before releasing the trailer, the makers dropped a few glimpses of the film. The first scene has an army of soldiers running around and gathering around a fort. And as the sound of the drums sharpens, we see Akshay Kumar emerging with a sword in his hand.

Sharing the video, Akshay Kumar wrote, “It’s an unbelievable true story. Presenting the first one from the glimpses of Kesari.”

Before sharing the teaser, Akshay Kumar shared another poster and wrote, “Aaj meri pagdi bhi Kesari, jo bahega mera woh lahoo bhi Kesari, aur mera jawaab bhi Kesari.”

In the second glimpse video, we can see a mean set on fire is walking towards a group of Afghan soldiers. The description of the video reads: “This Holi, let the colour of courage take over you because this is the bravest battle ever fought. Presenting the second one from the #GlimpsesOfKesari.”

The film is based on the historic Battle of Saragarhi fought by Sikh soldiers of the British Army against Orakzai and Afghan tribesmen. The film starring Parineeti Chopra opposite Akshay Kumar will be produced by Dharma Productions, Cape of Good Films and Reliance Entertainment. It is scheduled to release on 21 March 2019.
