Kartik Aaryan and Diljit Dosanjh lit up the ‘Dil-luminati’ stage in Ahmedabad
Kartik Aaryan surprises fans in Ahmedabad by joining Diljit Dosanjh on stage during his 'Dil-luminati' concert.
While both Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh have delivered blockbusters through the course of their careers it has primarily been with the top directors and co-actors.
Young Bollywood is truly redefining Indian cinema with bold choices, riveting content, and breakthrough performances. The biggest millennial superstars, Kartik Aaryan, Ranbir Kapoor, and Ranveer Singh, have time and again floored us with seasoned performances across a variety of genres, and what the 3 stars also share in common is their ability to grab the attention of the masses, and unshaken fan base and a strong line-up of films.
But the most interesting observation is how different Kartik Aaryan’s success story has been from his contemporaries – The most obvious being that Aaryan was an industry outsider with no filmy background, godfather, or big banner and that his success was never dependent on the filmmaker or banner backing.
While both Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh have delivered blockbusters through the course of their careers it has primarily been with the top directors and co-actors.

Be it Ranbir’s Rockstar with Imtiaz Ali, Barfi with Anurag Basu, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani with Ayan Mukherji and Deepika Padukone, and Sanju with Rajkumar Hirani or Ranveer’s films with Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Deepika Padukone – Ram Leela, Padmaavat, Bajirao Mastani; Gully Boy, Dil Dhadakne Do with Zoya Akhtar and Simmba with Rohit Shetty.
These hits have been a combination of celebrated filmmakers, bigger banners, and an equally prominent co-star in most cases amongst several other elements that gave impetus to the success of these films.
On the other hand, Kartik Aaryan’s biggest hits the Pyaar Ka Punchnama franchise, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety was with Luv Ranjan who also became a big name after these hits, Luka Chuppi with debut director Laxman Utekar or Pati Patni Aur Woh with Mudassar Aziz. Even his recent blockbuster Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 which was directed by Anees Bazmi is his big comeback film as a director after a gap.
The actor has truly proved to be a dark horse and a talent to reckon with, given that Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 became Bollywood’s first blockbuster post-pandemic.
With all three superstars also having a strong lineup of films, it will be interesting to see the dynamics between them in the future.
