Riddhima Kapoor defends brother Ranbir against misogyny claims
Riddhima Kapoor responds to online misogyny claims, defending her brother Ranbir and Alia's relationship, emphasizing their happiness and strong bond.
Alia further added, “Honestly I never thought about it but I don’t want to think about it now also. We will cross that bridge when we come to it.”
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have neither confirmed or denied their relationship. Rumours around their relationship have been circulating ever since both started working on Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra.
During a recent session at the Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival’s Mela, which was hosted by Karan Johar, Kareena Kapoor Khan mentioned that she would be “the happiest girl in the world,” if Alia Bhatt was to become her sister-in-law.
When Johar asked Alia if she ever imagined that there would be a day when she might become Kareena’s sister-in-law, the Jab We Met actor responded instead, “I’ll be the happiest girl in the world!”, an India Today report quoted her as as saying.

Alia further added, “Honestly I never thought about it but I don’t want to think about it now also. We will cross that bridge when we come to it.”
Karan Johar also said that of that were to happen, both Kareena and him, “will be exceptionally happy and we will be standing there with a thali!”
He even praised Kareena with the way she handled her career after getting married to Saif. He wished Alia too would handle her career like that.
“I do hope, eventually, whenever you do kind of get into that zone, you will actually handle and treat your career like Kareena has,” India Today quoted him as saying.
Meanwhile, on the other hand, Kareena Kapoor Khan has films like Angrezi Medium, Good Newwz and Lal Singh Chaddha awaiting release, while Alia has Brahmastra alongside Ranbir Kapoor for the coming year.
