Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter starrer Dhadak completed a year on Saturday. Both actors shared nostalgic messages about the Shashank Khaitan’s directorial which also marks a year for them in Bollywood.
The duo took to social media to pen emotional posts. Janhvi wrote, “1 year of Dhadak. 1 year of Madhu and Parthavi. 1 year of this family, of your love, of all these memories and people that I will cherish my whole life and never let go of.”

She also thanked Karan Johar for the opportunity. “Eternally grateful @karanjohar With this film you’ve given me a family, an opportunity and set me on a path I’ve always only dreamed of.” Kapoor wrote on a post on her official Instagram handle.

Ishaan also took to Instagram to pen his thoughts. Earlier, on Friday he wrote, “Tomorrow marks one year of the theatrical release of Dhadak Major nostalgia ensues and will continue for the next few hours.”
He also thanked Shashank Khaitan, Karan Johar and Janhvi Kapoor ” who have etched themselves into my life and my most prized memories forever.. “, further thanking the team of Dhadak, “and to the entire cast and crew without whom our film’s heart would not beat as it did.”
On the other hand, Karan Johar congratulated the team of Dhadak and wrote, “It’s one year already!! Two hearts, one heartbeat – that touched the hearts of many. This is what pure innocent love looks like, congrats to the entire team!”
Dhadak was a Hindi remake of the critically acclaimed Marathi film Sairat directed by Nagraj Manjule.
