Today, Anupam Kher conducted a #AskAnupam session on Twitter where a Twitter user asked him to share a tweet in support of the Queen actress.
“#AskAnupam nobody from bollywood is supporting Kagana’s Mankarnika movie. Can you please tweet in her support?” the user wrote.

In reply, the actor called Kangana a “rockstar” and went on to praise her further.

Recently, during a media interaction at the special screening of the film held for school children on 7 February, Kangana threatened to “expose” everybody in the Hindi film industry.
“Earlier, I used to stand up against sexism, pay disparity and nepotism in Bollywood but now, I will expose everybody. One thing is for sure that they have called for trouble by ganging up against me,” she said.
Meanwhile, Manikarnika is showing a steady performance at the Box Office. It has minted Rs 84.55 crore in two weeks.
Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi is a film that captures the life story of Rani Laxmibai. Directed by Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi and Kangana Ranaut, the film also stars Danny Denzongpa, Zeeshan Ayyub, Ankita Lokhande, Atul Kulkarni, Suresh Oberoi, and Jisshu Sengupta in pivotal roles.
Produced by Zee Studios, in association with Kamal Jain and Nishant Pitti, the film hit the screens on 25 January.
