Madhuri Dixit breaks silence on quitting films after marriage
Bollywood diva Madhuri Dixit gets candid about moving away from films in 1999, at the zenith of her career, following her marraige.
Produced by Karan Johar, Sajid Nadiadwala, Hiroo Yash Johar & Apoorva Mehta, the film is slated to release on 17 April, 2019.
Madhuri Dixit’s much awaited solo dance song from Abhishek Varman’s Kalank is out. The song has been creating a lot of buzz and excitement on social media. With the makers sharing glimpses of the actor’s look from the song, the video already has garnered one lakh viewers, just within an hour since its release.
The song is similar to the earlier track released, Ghar More Pardesiya, featuring Alia Bhatt. Apart from the singer, Shreya Goshal being common, the choreography and dance moves for both actors look similar. Madhuri Dixit does bring the charm and experience of her career with the additional dose of drama that has been seen in Kalank‘s trailer.

Though for a period-drama set in the Partition period, the song is strikingly soothing unlike Dixit’s earlier dramatic songs from Devdas, for instance. The actor adorns an orange floor-length lehenga-style gown. The shades of brown and red resonate in the song as well.
