Jashn-e-ittihaad held at Jamia to spread awareness about unity among youth

Jashn-e-ittihaad, a music and poetry event, took place in the capital on Saturday at Jamia Milia Islamia Central University. The event was organized by Question Associates Pvt Ltd and its aim is to spread awareness about unity among the youth. The event was attended by personalities such as Irshad Kamil and Waseem Barelvi, Laxmi Agarwal, the inspiring acid-attack survivor and Sakshi Katiyal, CEO – Home & Soul. Kaafiya, a poetry platform was the execution partner for the event.

The opening act of National Anthem and dance was performed by Yuvraaj Katiyal and Mahira Katyal. It was followed by poetry by Aseem Abaassee and Mayank Bokolia, ‘Vo Ladki’ by Irshad Kamil and his band, performance by Rashmi Agarwal and finally Mushaira by Munawwer Rana, WaseemBarelvi, Shakeel Jamali, Iqbal Ashhar, Madan Mohan Danish, Azm Shakiri, Rehman Musawwir, Azhar Iqbal and Rahul Jha.

Ruhi Ganguly, Founder and CEO of Question Associates Pvt Ltd, said at the event, “Jashn-e-ittihaad is one of its kind events where people got to enjoy soulful Hindi and Urdu poetry, music and performances that not only made them feel good but also spread awareness about unity in integrity.”
