The actress will be gracing the silver screen with her upcoming film Dhadak alongside Ishaan Khatter soon. Recently, a throwback video of Janhvi Kapoor dancing to brother Arjun Kapoor’s film song went viral.

After the release of the trailer, Arjun Kapoor took to Instagram and shared an emotional message for Janhvi. He wrote, “Tomorrow you will be part of the audience forever @janhvikapoor cause your trailer comes out… Firstly, sorry I’m not there in Mumbai but I’m by your side, don’t worry. I just wanted you to know this profession is amazing if you work hard, be honest, learn to take the accolades with the brickbats, respect opinions, yet follow ur own path & instinct. It’s not gonna be easy but I know your are ready for all the madness that will ensue. All the best for #dhadak! Janhvi Kapoor’s debut film Dhadak is the remake of popular Marathi film Sairat. The three-minute trailer of the film was released on 11 June. Introducing Janhvi as Parthavi and Ishaan as Madhur, the trailer shows love story of a low-caste young boy and the daughter of a wealthy upper cast landlord. Just like Sairat, the film touches the topic of the caste system.
Bankrolled by Dharma productions, Dhadak is slated to release on 20 July 2018.
