Pete Davidson has nothing but support for his ex-fiancée, Ariana Grande, as she gears up for awards season. The comedian and actor recently expressed his hope that Grande takes home the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Glinda in ‘Wicked’.
Speaking about their past relationship, Pete Davidson shared that although he does not cross paths with Ariana Grande often, there’s no bad blood.

After their split in October 2018, both moved on with their lives. Davidson dated several high-profile celebrities, including Kate Beckinsale, Kaia Gerber, Phoebe Dynevor, and Kim Kardashian.
Meanwhile, Grande married Dalton Gomez in 2021, but they parted ways in 2024. She is now in a relationship with her ‘Wicked’ co-star, Ethan Slater.
The ‘Saturday Night Live’ alum also opened up about how the public scrutiny surrounding his relationships has affected him. “It was humiliating and upsetting,” he admitted. “Everyone in Hollywood is dating everyone—look at Paul Mescal, Timothée Chalamet, Barry Keoghan. But because I’m not conventionally attractive, it became a joke. I was harassed for five years, and it made my life a living hell.”
Despite the media attention, Davidson maintains a positive outlook. When he and Grande were together, she even named a song after him on her ‘Sweetener’ album. Shortly after their breakup, she referenced him again in the hit song ‘thank u, next’.
