The darkest chapter in The Conjuring film series titled The Nun, which will narrate the story of the primary supernatural antagonist in The Conjuring 2, is all set to release in India on September 7.
The Nun is part of the shared franchise between The Conjuring and Annabelle and will tell the origins of the demonic nun known by the name of Valak, who was the primary villain in the supernatural horror film The Conjuring 2 (2016).

The franchise is hugely popular across the globe and like its predecessors The Nun will also witness a release in India later this year. The film is set in a time before the events of both The Conjuring and Annabelle.
Industry tracker and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his social media handles to officially announce the release date of the film in India.
The Conjuring films have been a massive game changer in the modern era of bringing back the horror genre with utmost efficiency and numerous paranoid and hysterical cases of viewers have been reported from different parts of the world after watching the film. Spooked?

The story will be set in 1952 in Romania where a team of a catholic priest and novice is sent by the Vatican to investigate the suicidal death of a nun at the Carta Monastery.
Bonnie Aarons will reprise her role as Demon Nun/Valak while Taissa Farmiga and Demian Bichir has been casted as Sister Irene and Father Burke respectively. The film will be directed by Corin Hardy.
