King Kong is all set to come to Broadway next year in autumn.
The stage show is based on the novel which inspired the original 1933 screenplay by Merian C Cooper and Edgar Wallace, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Jack Thorne, the Olivier-winning playwright of “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” is penning the long-gestating stage show.
Drew McOnie, another Olivier winner is directing and choreographing the show.
The score is composed by Marius de Vries, who has contributed to films such as La La Land, Moulin Rouge and Romeo Juliet, while Eddie Perfect's songs will be featured in the show.
