The film is one of the most expensive films of Hollywood and is set two hundred miles off the Chinese coast, where a 75-foot-long prehistoric shark called megalodon, thought to be long extinct, rises from the depths of the oceans and attacks a research submersible.
Interestingly, the film is set to clash in India with Irrfan’s Karwaan, which also marks the debut of actor DQ Salmaan.
The Meg is scheduled to release in four languages in India on August 10.
