Behold! The ‘Spider-Man’ couple, Zendaya and Tom Holland are engaged in real life, as per reports. Zendaya recently broke the internet with her 82nd Golden Globes look, stirring speculations of an engagement. The ‘Challengers’ actress stunned the carpet in a burnt orange ensemble and Bulgari jewellery. However, what caught fans’ attention was the giant engagement rock she was flaunting on her left hand. Zendaya recieved the nod for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy for ‘Challengers.’ Now, sources have confirmed that the two had an intimate engagement ceremony.

A source close to the couple told TMZ that Tom proposed at one of Zendaya’s family homes during the holidays. The source revealed, “Tom went down on one knee in a very intimate setting in one of Zendaya’s family homes in the United States. We’re told Tom didn’t make a huge show of the engagement – it wasn’t a big, over-the-top proposal – instead, it was very romantic and intimate.”

Moreover, another source confirmed the news to PEOPLE magazine. The source revealed that Tom Holland meant to propose to Zendaya for a long time. While close friends and family were aware, no one knew when it would happen. “He’s always been crazy about her. He always knew she was the one. They have something very special.” Talking about marriage plans, the source said, “They will just enjoy things for now and won’t rush a wedding. They are both busy with work projects. Tom has always had this sweet way of letting the world know that Zendaya is his. Now, it’s official – she really is!”

Since the news, fans of the couple can’t help but flood social media, congratulating the new couple in town. Several MCU fans are also commenting on the lines that the couple finally broke the ‘Spiderman dating curse.’

Zendaya and Tom Holland have been in a relationship since 2021. The couple first shared the screen on ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ in 2017 and ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ in 2021. Moving ahead, they are going to star in Christopher Nolan’s next ensemble project, ‘The Odyssey.’ The pair will star alongside Matt Damon, Anne Hathway, and Lupita Nyong’o among others.
