‘Harry Potter’ actress Maggie Smith dies at 89
Oscar-winning actress Maggie Smith, best known for her impeccable performances in the ‘Harry Potter' franchise, ‘Downtown Abbey’ and others passed away at the age of 89.
The greatest wizard of the world, Albus Dumbledore, was reportedly in love with Gellert Grindelwald! The former principal of the greatest magic school ever, Hogwarts, never came out of the closet in the visual representation of the novels. But this angle was revealed by JK Rowling (Author), who answered a fan’s question about Dumbledore’s love life. She said, “He fell in love with Gellert Grindelwald, which was his greatest tragedy!”

Well, this is true up to some extent as Emma Watson (Hermione) had a big time crush on her co-star Tom Felton. According to sources, she admitted about her crush on her co-star during the filming of Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban. Hermione who despised Draco for his arrogance, was quite impressed with the real life charming English actor, Tom Felton!
The film-makers were not so ‘magically’ amused by the title of the third movie in the franchise and suggested for a title change for the movie. Many suggestions like, Harry Potter and The Death Eaters and Harry Potter The Fire Goblet, were suggested!
Novelist JK Rowling was tired of reading the third novel again and again in order to make some appropriate changes for the film. She was sick of reading the novel too many times for further development. Who would have better understood the changes to be made than the author herself!
Rowling described the character Professor Snape as an anti-hero. Much of the inspiration for the character came from a disliked teacher from her own childhood! According to sources, Rowling said in an interview, “He’s the worst kind of a guy with a good heart. With an affectionate side.” In an interview in 2004, Rowling revealed Professor Snape as her favorite character.
