Turtle Walker: Zoya Akhtar, Reema Kagti’s documentary to premiere at Doc NYC
Turtle Walker, a documentary on Indian sea turtle conservationist Satish Bhaskar, co-produced by Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti, premieres at Doc NYC 2024.
American Playboy: The Hugh Hefner Story, on the life of the popular magazine's charismatic 90-year-old founder, will premiere on April 7.
Produced by the Emmy Award-winning Stephen David Entertainment and Alta Loma Entertainment, it will launch globally on April 7 on Amazon Prime Video, a statement said.

It draws from unprecedented access to Hefner's archive of thousands of hours of footage and his Guinness World Record-holding collection of over 2,900 scrapbooks.

The docu-series combines archival footage, pulling from thousands of hours from Hefner's personal archives; interviews with notable figures including Jesse Jackson, Gene Simmons and Bill Maher; and cinematic re-enactments.
It begins in post-war US and takes viewers through the launch of Playboy magazine in 1953 and the next six decades of Hefner's life and career.
As he built his empire, Hefner became both a social justice advocate and a target of the conservative movement while becoming an outspoken defender of civil rights, freedom of speech, gay rights and sexual freedom.
Hefner has been deeply involved in the development and production of the series, made of 10 episodes.
