Remember that ‘Indian girl in Harry Potter‘? Actress Afshan Azad, who played the role Padma Patil in the fantasy film, tied the knot with fiance Nabil Kazi. On Sunday, the couple got married in a traditional Bangladeshi wedding and we witnessed a mini Harry Potter reunion at the event.

The 29-year-old actress took to Instagram and shared a few glimpses of her big day. Her co-stars, Bonnie Wright, who played Ginny Weasley, and Katie Leung, who played Cho Chang, turned up at the wedding. Bonnie Wright shared a picture from the wedding and wrote,“Over the moon to have been there with today Afshan. We love you so much! Congratulations to you and Nabil, wishing you so much joy in your married life together.”

Posting a similar picture, Katie Leung wrote, “Celebrating our beautiful bride @afshanazad‘s special day.”
On 21 August, Afshan shared a picture of herself and her to be husband walking down the aisle, with an emotional note. “Yesterday was the most epic night. My handsome husband and beautiful in-laws went above and beyond and blew me away with the most magical Walima party. Historically, the first wedding to EVER happen in this venue, it was absolutely breathtaking. My very own Royal Wedding! Thank you to everyone who helped put this night together. Here’s to a lifetime of Happiness with you my love — We did it,” the caption read.

On 28 May, another Harry Potter star Matthew Lewis, who essayed the role of Neville Longbottom, too got married to actor Angela Jones. He announced the news with an adorable post, which read: “Not only did I miss @ArcticMonkeys in LA but they were performing in Italy at the same time we were there and my wife made me get married instead. Fuming.”
