Bollywood star Varun Dhawan, who is gearing up for his upcoming film ‘Baby John’, has spoken about what needs to change in the Hindi film industry.
Deepika Padukone has won the hearts of not only her fans but also veteran actress Hema Malini with her impressive performance in her recent work. Lauding Deepika as the new age ‘Dream Girl’, the yesteryear actress presented her with the first copy of her biography, Beyond the Dream Girl, at the official launch event with a heartfelt handwritten message.
Deepika, who is on cloud nine with the tremendous response to her upcoming film Padmavati, launched the biography of the yesteryear actress.

The original ‘Dream Girl’ of the industry was all praise for Deepika as she believes that she handed over the torch to the young actress for her contribution in cinema.

Interestingly, Hema touted Deepika as the new age dream girl, who made her debut in Om Shanti Om, where she essayed the role of Shanti Priya, a character inspired by Hema Malini.
Expressing her gratitude, Deepika took to her Instagram to share the heartfelt message written by Hema, with her fans.
It is safe to say that the veteran actress has placed the torch in safe hands, as Deepika’s talent and versatility can’t be disputed with noteworthy performances in films like Cocktail, Goliyuon ki Raslee Ram-Leela, Piku, Bajirao Mastani and Tamasha.
Deepika will be next seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s epic drama, Padmavati.
