In the upcoming film Paltan, veteran director JP Dutta will be showcasing another war story. The cast of the film will be portraying the real-life soldiers who played an important role during the 1967 Indo-China war.

Earlier, with similar videos, the makers introduced other characters — Lt. Col. Rai Singh,  Maj. Bishen Singh,  Capt. Prithvi Singh Dagar, and 2nd Lt. Attar Singh.

Along with the real-life picture of the soldiers, the video also portrays an array of different emotions of the character — from being an arduous soldier at the time of war to an emotional and fun side.

With only two days to go for the release, Paltan has piqued the interest of the audience with the intriguing trailer, which definitely brings back memories from the times of Border and LOC Kargil.

Based on the Nathu La military clashes of 1967, which took place along the Sikkim border, Paltan showcases an event from the history when the Indian forces faced an intense battle to ward off Chinese infiltration.

The national-award-winning director, JP Dutta, had earlier treated audiences with war films like Border and LOC Kargil, besides Refugee among others. The third film of the war trilogy, Paltan, will see an ensemble cast featuring Jackie Shroff, Arjun Rampal, Harshvardhan Rane, Gurmeet Choudhary, Abdul Qadir Amin, Sonu Sood, Sonal Chauhan, Esha Gupta, Monica Gill, Rohit Roy, Siddhant Kapoor, Luv Sinha, and Dipika Kakar.

With power-packed performances, the film promises to tell a riveting, untold story of the bravest of Indian soldiers who fought till the end.

Presented by Zee Studios and produced by JP Dutta Films, Paltan is directed by JP Dutta and is slated to release on 7 September.
