Australian actor Chris Hemsworth turns 35 today (11 August). He plays the major character of Thor in the Marvel Universe. From spending a part of his childhood growing up in an aboriginal community, to gaining the title of the Sexiest Man Alive by People Magazine in 2014, to winning the People’s Choice Awards for favorite action movie actor in 2016, Hollywood’s ‘god of thunder’ has paved his way into the hearts of all his fans across the globe.

Chris Hemsworth won the Teen Choice Awards for the Choice Summer Movie Star: Male, for his role in ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’ and the People’s Choice Awards for the favourite Movie Action Star. Was also nominated for favourite on screen chemistry (shared by Kristen Stewart)
2. The Avengers (2013)
Won the Teen Choice Awards for the Choice Summer Movie Star: Male, People’s Choice Awards for the favorite Movie Action Star and the MTV Movie Awards for the Best fight category. Had also been nominated for the categories such as Favourite Male Superhero and Favourite Male Butt-Kicker.
3. Avengers: Age of Ultron (2016)
Won the People’s Choice Awards for the favorite Action Movie Actor and was nominated for the Kids’ Choice Awards for Favorite Movie Actor
4. In the Heart of the Sea (2016)
Won the People’s Choice Awards for the favorite Action Movie Actor and was also nominated for Teen Choice Awards for the Choice Movie Actor: Action.

Won the Kids’ Choice Award for Favorite Movie Actor and was nominated for the People’s Choice Awards for Favourite Comedic Movie Actor.
