At event, Miss Sudesh Dua, Director of T-Series said that “The celebration of Gulshan Kumar’s legacy was a long-awaited and special event. I was touched on seeing the students of GKFTII presenting the life of Gulshan Kumar through a play, there were splendid singing and dancing performances and it gave me immense pleasure to see how beautifully our students performed. It was a fantastic event graced my many eminent personalities and launch of Gulshan Kumar award of excellence and Gulshan Kumar young achiever award was the cherry on the cake. I feel honoured to be called wife of Gulshan Kumar and director of T- Series.”

Gulshan Kumar award of excellence was bagged by Shankar Sahney in the category of Bollywood Singer and Narendra Chanchal for Devotional Singer among others.
