Marvel Studios on Tuesday released the first trailer of the female-led superhero movie ‘Captain Marvel’, ending the anticipation of millions of fans of the franchise around the world.
Based on the titular character of Marvel Comics, the film follows the story of Air Force pilot Carol Danvers as she becomes Captain Marvel at a time when the Earth gets caught in the middle of an intergalactic conflict between two alien worlds.

The trailer shows Captain Marvel, played by Brie Larson, falling on Earth. Unable to remember her time on Earth, a confused Danvers comes in contact with a young Nick Fury, played by Samuel L Jackson. As the two come to grips with the incoming intergalactic battle, Danvers struggles to regain her lost memories and understand her superpowers.
Deemed as the 21s installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Captain Marvel is directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck. Besides Brie Larson and Samuel L Jackson, the film also stars Ben Mendelsohn, Lee Pace, and Jude Law among others.
