Ranbir Kapoor on reuniting with Sanjay Leela Bhansali for ‘Love And War’
Ranbir Kapoor teams up with Sanjay Leela Bhansali after 17 years for 'Love And War', alongside Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal.
Ever since Rajkumar Hirani has outed the look of Ranbir Kapoor in his upcoming film Sanju, the actor has been receiving accolades for his transformation for the character of reel Sanjay Dutt. Now that the trailer is also out, everyone is going gaga about Ranbir who has not only copied the look but has also managed to imbibe the mannerisms of the actor he is playing.
Days after the trailer launch, the real Sanjay Dutt too has something to say about for Ranbir Kapoor. In an interview to ETimes, Sanjay Dutt said, “Ranbir is doing a fantastic job.”

He added: “There is no advice for Ranbir Kapoor. He is doing a fantastic job. Whatever I have seen on the sets of the movie, it is really great. I just wish him all the best and I am looking forward to watch the movie.”
After the trailer launch, fans went crazy seeing Ranbir Kapoor as Sanju — be it Sanjay’s mannerisms, walking style or accent, Ranbir seems to have nailed it all, and the resemblance is striking.
A few days ago, Sanjay Dutt’s best friend and Bollywood actor Salman Khan commented on the Sanju trailer. He said, “Whenever Sanju wants to make a comeback, he will. It is all left to Sanjay Dutt, the day he thinks ‘I want to come back, he will be back’.”

“Even for the movie Sanju, I thought why did somebody else play his part. No one can do justice to that. The last bit of the film, Sanju only should have played it himself. The last portion of the last eight to ten years, Sanju only should have done it.”
The biopic portrays various phases of Sanjay Dutt, as a drug addict, a survivor, a film star and a prisoner.
In addition to Ranbir Kapoor, the film features Anushka Sharma, Paresh Rawal, Sonam Kapoor, Manisha Koirala, Jim Sarbh, Boman Irani, Vicky Kaushal and Dia Mirza. The Dutt biopic is to be released on 29 June 2018.
