The plot of the film is a same-sex love story as we have already seen in the trailer. Sonam’s family is on a lookout for a groom for her, unaware of the fact that she is actually in love with a girl. The South actress Regina Cassandra will play the role of Sonam Kapoor’s love interest.

The film is produced and presented by Vidhu Vinod Chopra in association with Fox Star Studios and is set to release on 1 February 2019.
