Sheeran quickly picked up his guitar and delighted the crowd with a rendition of his smash hit “Shape of You.” However, the real magic happened when Diljit joined him on stage for a mashup. The two combined “Shape of You” with Diljit’s own song “Naina,” from the Bollywood heist comedy ‘Crew’. Their voices blended seamlessly, and the performance ended with a heartfelt hug between the two, leaving the audience buzzing with excitement.
Fans flooded social media with excitement over the collaboration, praising the chemistry between the artists. Many were thrilled to witness this crossover between Western pop and Punjabi music, which is becoming more frequent and celebrated.
This isn’t the first time the two stars have shared the stage. In March, Diljit joined Sheeran in Mumbai, where they performed Sheeran’s song “Lover,” marking a significant moment as Sheeran sang in Punjabi for the first time.
