Past resurrected
Is there life after death? After millennia of Vedic-Puranic teachings and learnings, the answer is definitely a resounding 'Yes'. Nothing dies, it changes form; nothing is born, it assumes new forms.
Earl Spencer shares a nostalgic family photo featuring Princess Diana and siblings, offering a glimpse into their cherished childhood.
Earl Charles Spencer, brother of the beloved late Princess Diana, took a stroll down memory lane recently by sharing a heartwarming family photo on his Instagram. The vintage snapshot, captured in black-and-white, features a young Charles perched on a swing, with his older sister Diana standing beside him. Their mother, Frances Shand Kydd, lovingly oversees the scene from behind.
According to the caption written by Earl Spencer, the picture dates back to around 1967, when he was a sprightly 3-year-old and Diana was about 5 or 6. Reflecting on the moment frozen in time, Spencer remarked on the palpable joy radiating from each of their faces. He fondly recalled his mother affectionately dubbing him “Buzz,” a nod to his seemingly boundless energy akin to a busy bee.

The charming photo sparked a wave of nostalgia among followers, with many noting the striking resemblance between young Diana and her niece, Princess Charlotte, the spirited daughter of Prince William and Kate Middleton. However, it could not convince everyone of the similarity.

Diana, whose untimely passing in 1997 left the world in mourning, was part of a tight-knit family. In addition to Spencer, she was survived by two older sisters: Lady Jane Fellowes, now 67, and Lady Sarah McCorquodale, now 68. Tragically, a fifth sibling, John Spencer, passed away mere hours after his birth in 1960.
