Megastar Chiranjeevi, accompanied by his wife Surekha Konidela, made his mark in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections by casting his vote in Hyderabad’s Jubilee Hills on Monday. Sporting a sense of civic duty, the Padma Vibhushan recipient urged fellow citizens to exercise their democratic right, emphasizing the importance of voting for shaping the nation’s future.

As the polling commenced at 7 am and continued till 6 pm across various Lok Sabha and assembly constituencies, Chiranjeevi’s call echoed a broader sentiment of civic engagement. In tandem with the Lok Sabha polls, voting also commenced for all 175 seats of the Andhra Pradesh State Legislative Assembly and 28 seats of the Odisha State Legislative Assembly.

The fourth phase of elections witnesses a plethora of key contests across different constituencies. Notable figures like AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, and West Bengal Congress chief Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury are among the prominent leaders vying for victory. The electoral battleground also features personalities from various parties, including BJP, TMC, and JDU, making it a crucial phase in the democratic process.

Chiranjeevi’s proactive participation in the voting process serves as a clarion call to citizens to fulfill their civic duty. His message, resonating beyond the confines of political affiliations, underscores the significance of every vote in shaping the country’s trajectory for the next five years.

Echoing similar sentiments, actor Allu Arjun, clad in a simple white t-shirt and black jeans, cast his vote in Hyderabad during the fourth phase of Lok Sabha elections. Emphasizing the pivotal nature of the day, Arjun urged citizens to exercise their franchise, highlighting the collective responsibility towards nation-building.

The electoral landscape encompasses a diverse array of constituencies, each playing a crucial role in determining the nation’s future course. With a total of 96 parliamentary constituencies witnessing polling and a substantial voter turnout anticipated, the democratic process unfolds amidst spirited contests and fervent appeals for active citizen participation.

As the day progresses, citizens across the nation are reminded of their role in shaping the democratic fabric of the country. Beyond the political rhetoric, the essence of democracy lies in the collective voice of its citizens, reaffirming the fundamental principle of ‘government of the people, by the people, for the people.’
