The makers of Kabir Singh starring Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani launched a new track on Thursday. Titled, “Mere Sohneya”, the song is a soothing romantic number and will bring back memories of forgotten old romances and first-love innocence for audience.
Featuring the lead pair — Shahid and Kiara — the song unlike “Bekhayali” and “Tujhe Kitna Chahne Lage” gives a glimpse into the brimming relationship of the leading pair. There is love, fear of loss and shared happiness. In the voice of Sachet Tandon and Parampara Thakur, the song is a must to listen to.

Shahid Kapoor had earlier shared the news of the song release on social media. He shared a poster and wrote: “Get smitten by love! #MereSohneya, out on 6th June! ”

He also shared the song on his Instagram handle.
Kabir Singh revolves around the story of an alcoholic surgeon who goes on the path of self-destruction after his ex marries someone else. Shahid plays the role of a doctor and Kiara, an aspiring MBBS student.
Fans have been retweeting and sharing the link of the song on social media. All are excited to see Kiara and Shahid in this romantic drama after their chemistry was appreciated in the Urvasi remake last year.
Sandeep Vanga has written and directed Kabir Singh, a remake of his own super hit Telugu film Arjun Reddy (2017).
