The official trailer of a mini-series, Catch 22, starring George Clooney and Christopher Abbott, has been released by Hulu. Based on Joseph Heller’s novel of the same name, the 6-episode miniseries follows the journey of a WWII bombardier as he maintains his sanity while undertaking increasing dangerous missions.
Catch 22, a satirical anti-war novel was first published in 1961 and was first adapted into a film by Mike Nichols, The Graduate, starring Dustin Hoffman and Anne Bancroft.
The trailer is dramatic and funny and the story still seems relevant even half a century after the book was published. Catch 22 series is headed by George Clooney and his writer-director partner Grant Heslov. Both will also be directing one episode each.

Interestingly, today Venice is not so much known for its Rialto Bridge, Saint Marks Square, or the gondolas as it is for its film festival, which runs every autumn. This year, the 81st edition will begin rolling on 28 August.
