This past weekend was full of celebrations, love and togetherness for Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra and American singer Nick Jonas as they announced their engagement.

Nick Jonas arrived in Mumbai on Thursday night with his parents Kevin Jonas Sr and Denise Jonas for the traditional roka ceremony followed by an engagement bash.

Late Sunday night, Nick headed to the airport before which the family spent some time at an orphanage in Andheri.

As they interacted with children, Nick took to Instagram Stories to share a video of Priyanka in which she is seen dancing with a child to her song Tune Maari Entriyaan. Nick wrote posted: “St.Catherine’s orphanage today. My heart is full.”

Previously, talking about marriage, Priyanka had said, “I love the idea of getting married. I totally want to get married at some point.”

“And I don’t think marriage makes you smaller or bigger or more feminist or not. Feminism basically is women saying give us our own choices without judging us. That’s all it is. It’s not about berating someone. It’s not about proving a point. I totally would love to get married,” she added.

During her 36th birthday celebrations, Nick popped the question to her. But it was only on August 18 that the duo made the news official and announced their engagement to the world through  Instagram.

On the other hand, the Quantico actress will be resuming work on The Sky Is Pink, which is a Shonali Bose directorial that also stars Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim.
