In a recent interview, Shah Rukh Khan’s longtime friend and colleague, Vivek Vaswani, shed light on the rumors surrounding Shah Rukh’s alleged relationship with Priyanka Chopra. Despite widespread speculation during the filming of Don 2, both Shah Rukh and Priyanka consistently denied any romantic involvement.
Vivek, who played a pivotal role in launching Shah Rukh’s career with “Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman,” addressed the topic candidly. He emphasized that Shah Rukh’s status as a superstar often led to unfounded gossip, but insisted that the rumors were baseless. When asked about the alleged relationship between Shah Rukh and Priyanka, Vivek firmly stated that there was no truth to it.

Clarifying further, Vivek highlighted the realities of Shah Rukh’s life during that time. He described a scenario where Shah Rukh was dealing with the pressures of his career, family responsibilities, and the imminent need to marry Gauri Khan. In such a context, Vivek reasoned, it was implausible for Shah Rukh to be involved in a romantic affair.

Vivek Vaswani emphasized the strength of Shah Rukh’s character, portraying him as a committed partner and a man of integrity. He noted that throughout their friendship, there had been no evidence of Shah Rukh engaging in casual flings or extramarital affairs. While acknowledging the one rumor regarding Priyanka Chopra, Vivek dismissed it as nothing more than gossip.
In Vivek’s eyes, Shah Rukh Khan epitomizes loyalty and devotion, both in his personal and professional life. He attributed the scarcity of scandalous stories about Shah Rukh to his unwavering dedication to his wife and family.
